Why I came
back home

I grew up in Poonch — a small town in the mountains of Jammu and Kashmir, where pecans grow in backyards and neighbours gift them to each other in winter. Nobody farms them commercially. Meanwhile, India imports almost all of its pecans from America. After years away, I moved home to change that. Juniper is a small-batch food brand built around these local pecans, made in Poonch with farmers who’ve grown the tree with a lot of care and love.
